Products: Computer Tools: Wired Intellipen
This device is not useful with Peterson E-workbooks. Instead, it offers an alternative for digital handwriting and spelling practice with on screen pages, in PowerPoint®, Word®, Excel® or Outlook 2003 & 2007 editions. For those who have a Smart Board or digital projector, IntelliPen Wired Digital Pen & Mouse is handy for using a classroom PC computer to teach and practice handwriting, spelling and more with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or the applications supplied with the tool (Pen & Ink Editor or Snapshot). When using a chalkboard or chart, your body always conceals the movement process for some students. This is particularly troublesome when teaching handwriting. With IntelliPen, you can launch Pen & Ink Editor to create an on-screen page image. Then write on paper at your desk. Everyone has a clear view of the strokes as you write them on the projected screen image. If you use Microsoft Word and Power Point to create lesson materials, you can use Snapshot to capture an image of your page and then lead students through the lesson by annotating the projected document. Draw pictures, illustrate math problems, teach handwriting movement patterns and everyone can see the movement process as you write on paper and your computer screen. Outlook Users can personalize email with a signature or send a handwritten email note. With IntelliPen you can create handwritten documents on screen and convert your notes to digital text using the free download software from Microsoft. For Vista users (excepting Home Basic), IntelliPen converts your PC into a tablet computer. You already have the handwriting recognition software. IntelliPen Wired Digital Pen & Mouse The Pen handles click and scroll mouse functions. You can write on screen and on any paper. Illustrate and capture handwriting. Convert notes to digital text. Annotate Microsoft Office (03, 07) documents. Personalize Outlook e-mail. |
