The Finger Fitter thick triangular pencils are our choice for primary children. They are available with and without an eraser and come in two colors - yellow and orange. The improved thick triangular shape, thick lead and glossy paint job all contribute to our decision to carry these new pencils. A better product at a lower price - yes, Try Rex prices increased in June. That is what prompted us to look for alternatives. We found the Finger Fitter for you and need not raise prices as a result.

The Crossover Grip provides a thick body like The Pencil Grip with "wings" that keep the pointer and thumb tucked securely in the right place. It is pliable enough to use on any of our pencils - from the Finger Fitter thick triangular to regular non triangular varieties. You will have to help a little one adjust the grip when used on a thick pencil - a big advantage. If they are forever playing with the gripper or sliding it out of the way when you're not looking, this will solve the problem. It addresses the issue of extra fingers on top of the pencil which has such a negative effect on wrist position and paper holding. The wings help to improve the feeling of control which makes the tripod grip we seek feel so much better to those little fingers.

We feel it is so effective that we have included it in the popular Try All Seven pack immediately. If the Finger Fitter Triangular pencil is not enough to allow a relaxed correct grip, this new tool seems to offer additional help.

Actually, this CD contains much more than the animated letter cards. It also contains special animated presentations on developmental considerations, coaching position skills and how to teach using the Peterson Method of rhythmic instruction. All of the presentations provide very pertinent information to every teacher/coach, even if you are working with an adult population.

You must have web browser software to access the files but you do not need to be on the internet - a real advantage when your network is down. Here is how it works:

1. Step One - Start your browser program and set it to work off line. Both Netscape and Explorer offer this option under the file menu.
2. Step Two - Select "open file" or "open page" from your file menu. This will open a selection window allowing you to choose from a list of files.
3. Step Three - load the CD. Your machine will jump to the CD drive and put the CD file list into your selection window. Scroll to select the file, "stylechooz.html."


The files on the CD will operate in the same way as a web site. Click on the links to move to the file you want to use. Enjoy and learn. You will find it listed in its own category on the web store front page.
